Blind Faith is Not Expected ~ So Do the Work, Weigh the Facts, Credibility .... But Fairly ~ Begin Trying to See for Yourself ~ and Consider Taking a Trip* [* far bottom]
Addressed is a miracle, in addition to its facts existing to this day. They are available for reasonable verification by anyone. For those desiring to do so, there also are routine group trips to join [* far bottom]. Even critics and atheists should agree there is a moral obligation to attempt verification first, regardless of faith, if any, morally, yes, rationally too, all should agree it is only proper to do so before casting unqualified dispute around in any way (please see footnote one). I will assist in verification, if possible. Again, helpful verification information also is provided. I have good reason to believe Lord Jesus invites anyone.
The facts are within the article excerpt below. It forms part of the background to my post “Believing is Seeing”, referring to the cited article, Pope Francis, Eucharistic Miracle in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Either of the following two links is a source of the excerpt: Eucharistic Miracle? ‘Bleeding Host’ Phenomenon Reported in Dioceses Worldwide | ncregister.com, OR an Internet Archive page capture.
The excerpt is:
....
Then Gomez arranged to compare those lab reports with the ones from the Eucharistic miracle of Lanciano, Italy. That miracle took place during the eighth century. A priest-monk suffered from doubts about Transubstantiation, wondering if the bread and wine really did become the Body and Blood of Christ. He prayed for help believing it was true. At the Consecration of one of his Masses, the Host changed into a circle of flesh, and the wine became blood before the eyes of numerous witnesses. The Host-turned-flesh and the wine-turned-blood, without the use of any form of preservative, are still present more than 1,300 years later in a reliquary at St. Francis Church in Lanciano. They have been scientifically tested a number of times, with the last one being in 1970 [Emphasis added].
....
Though unverified by some needing and welcome to do so, for your moral and logical consideration, based merely on the above, an atheist may even agree it would be morally improper raising questions of doubt at this time without first *investigating the facts [* far bottom]. Again, I have good reason to believe Lord Jesus invites you to do so.
Further, an excerpt from Eucharistic Miracle, Lanciano, Italy 8th Century A.D., Real Presence Eucharistic Education and Adoration Association, states, “The preservation of the Flesh and of the Blood, which were left in their natural state for twelve centuries and exposed to the action of atmospheric and biological agents, remains an extraordinary phenomenon.”.
Please realize that this truly is all very real. For verification information, please see below.
May God bless you.
Sincerely in Christ, /L.S., Frank Lawrence, Sr./
* A mere quick Internet search for Lanciano, Italy, resulted in at least two groups touring there (though also at another site(s) in Italy). With any tour group of this nature, rightfully assume you will receive a gracious welcome in joining them. Also, for more information, contact Santuario del Miracolo Eucaristico, Frati Minori Conventuali, 66034 Lanciano (CH), Italy, Telephone: (0872) 713189.
If I can assist anyone with this verification in any way possible, seriously, please contact me at flawpc@gmail.com.
Footnote 1: Miracles remain in existence today for verification, for anyone desiring to do so. Hopefully, critics will invest some effort in this and learn the facts (and reasonably attempt to verify them first), reasonable verifiable facts existing today, preferable before casting unqualified dispute around in any way, again, before. Even critics and atheists should agree there is a moral obligation to attempt verification first, regardless of faith, if any, morally, yes, rationally too, all should agree it is only proper to do so before casting unqualified dispute around. To begin your first verification, please start here, and if I can assist in any way, please contact me at flawpc@gmail.com.
