“Believing is Seeing”
By definition, faith has incongruity with the well-known axiom, “seeing is believing.” A reversed broader view for a far deeper capacity is appropriate, “believing is seeing” allowing heartfelt sight. No, well beyond being naïve or gullible, it is for those with a mind of their own, strength, and wisdom for a man or woman here. Rule out docility, blind faith as well (please see footnote one). A step above, with discretion, knowing when to compromise, this is for the strength of independent thought and character that will question if need be. They are not sheep led to the slaughter but have an independent keen perception of good and evil, if needed, making their paths avoiding it, who question and search for answers (even the owner of money on the street), ironic, having such strength, and kind yet, humble too.
I have been humbled in old age, unworthy of being alive today to share an article with you. This article is entitled, “Pope Francis, Eucharistic Miracle in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Absolute Primacy of Christ”. Literally of (and for) a lifetime, depending on device/browser functions, it might be more image revealing through a second link, an Internet Archive Capture, April 6, 2013, Pope Francis, Eucharistic Miracle in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Absolute Primacy of Christ.
“Only with the eyes of faith do we see Him...”.
May God bless you.
Sincerely in Christ, /L.S., Frank Lawrence, Sr./
Footnote 1: Incidentally, regarding blind faith, miracles remain in existence today for verification, for anyone desiring to do so. Hopefully, critics will invest some effort in this and learn the facts and verify them first, reasonable verifiable facts existing today, preferably before casting unqualified dispute around, again, before. Regardless of faith, if any, even critics and atheists should agree there is a moral obligation to attempt verification first, morally, yes, rationally too, all should agree it is only proper to do so. To begin your first verification, start with my post, Blind Faith is Not Expected, and I will assist if possible.
