The Thinker by Rodin, Courtesy of Wikipedia

The Thinker above, originally The Poet, is looking down at the gate to Hell in deep thought with pity. By some or all, the sculpture represents poet Dante Alighieri or his poetry, respectively (a work of French sculptor Auguste Rodin). The Vatican honors poet Dante Alighieri, considering him the father of the Italian language. An English-translated PDF of the Vatican website content is available at this first Mega link MEGAThe Vatican, Viaggiare con Dante.

Please, see an article on the home page, a summary of:
The Lord’s Prayer: God May Withdraw All His Forgiveness, Lacking Strict Forgiveness of Others at the Final Judgment. Although perhaps not currently affected, be ever-mindful. It is not hype, an exaggeration.

The New American Bible Revised Edition (NABRE): Not Only Catholics Should Make Use Of The Excellent Notes Available Free Online

United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) URL: https://bible.usccb.org/bible

Image courtesy of Barnes & Noble

Access the New American Bible Revised Edition (NABRE) free online, e.g., through the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) or Bible Gateway. ᶠⁿ¹ ᶠⁿ²

ᶠⁿ¹ THOSE THAT ARE NOT CATHOLIC SHOULD NOT FEAR THIS BIBLE

There are “extra” books in this Catholic Bible that are not in Bibles that are not Catholic. Catholics refer to them as Deuterocanonical. Protestants usually referred to them as Apocrypha. The “extra“ material has clear asterisks (*****) in the list of books below. By All Means, Make Use Of This Invaluable Online Bible Resource (please see the “Important Note” below).

The translation and interpretation of the content of other Christian Bibles are in accord (despite some subtle differences among all versions of the Bible, whether Catholic). There is an exception for the books of Esther and Daniel. They have Catholic additions, but the additional parts are identified clear within the list of books below.

All NABRE content is the same except the identified “extra” books and the identified Esther and Daniel additions, And EVERYTHING Has Clear Asterisks (*****) Identification.

ᶠⁿ² The URLs at the top of this post access the NABRE. Notably, the Bible Gateway provides even more than the USCCB does, e.g., an introduction for each category listed in blue below. There is no need to use the links below to access the USCCB books of the Bible.

Important Note: It is unusual for such Excellent Notes ᶠⁿ³ to be online for free. They explain many Bible verses, referenced within the Bible text and appearing at the end of each Bible chapter (and within all books of the Bible). The notes are highly reliable, some strikingly outstanding, hard to find elsewhere. There also are invaluable cross-references.

ᶠⁿ³ See, for example, a short and simple note, Matthew note 18:35, yet specifying, in part, “the final judgment” There will be a specific review of all at the final judgment on our forgiveness of others, for some, a withdrawal of sins already forgiven through the Lord Jesus despite priestly confessions, overriding everythingEnough To Shake The Universe. See a complex deep analysis, Isaiah note 6:9-10, regarding John 12:37-43, “it is unlikely that this charge to ʻhardenʼ is to be understood as Isaiahʼs task; more probably it reflects the refusal of the people”, that the Jewish people “could not” believe in the Lord Jesus upon His arrival not by God, but of their own accord, having already lost their ability to do so and misunderstood by far too many. Also, see a longer unbiased and complex deep analysis in Matthew note 19:1–23:39, joined with Matthew note 23:1–39 (also note the use of the term “invective” and properly applied, for example, Mt. 23:33, in part, “you brood of vipers”).
